
The leader of the British government, Rishi Sunak, expressed approval regarding the 'progress' achieved by the European Union at the exclusive summit in Sammit on Ukraine on Thursday. He called it a 'historic step forward', passing on the press secretary of Downing Street. During a video conference on Friday after the summit, Sunak discussed with the presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, as well as with the leaders of Canada, Turkey, Norway, and Iceland their 'remarks' on working towards ensuring long-term peace in Ukraine. That same evening, the leader of the United Kingdom spoke with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. European countries gave the green light on Thursday for a plan to mobilize up to 800 billion.
